Awarded to the student upon completion of MAT157 (or the first year mathematics course for specialists) who most demonstrates excellence and leadership, and inspires excellence among classmates.

To be awarded to an outstanding student in any year of the Performance program, whose major instrument is the violin.

Awarded to one or more upper-year female undergraduate engineering students on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated financial need

Awarded to a Full time first-year undergraduate student upon admission to an Arts and Humanities program. The recipient must be a graduate of a Toronto high school with a grade of A or higher upon their graduation, and must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students from Jarvis Collegiate. The recipient must also be enrolled in a non-denominational college. Preference will be given to students enrolled in University College. The award will be renewable on the basis that the recipient maintain their Full time enrollment status and an A average.

To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the Faculty of Law on the basis of financial need.

The applicant must: a) be a Japanese-Canadian student (a person of Japanese ancestry living in Canada) enrolled in any Full time undergraduate course. b) have obtained an average of at least 66% in the Grade XIII papers required for admission to the University and not hold other awards of a total value exceeding $600. c) demonstrate financial need.

To be awarded to a Full time, undergraduate student in the Faculty of Medicine on the basis of academic merit and involvement with the University of Toronto community with preference to students affiliated with Chestnut or New College Residences. Award applications will be available in November.

To be awarded to one or more Woodsworth College students studying in the Commerce program who demonstrate financial need. Priority given to part-time students.

The Meltz grant helps undergraduate students in certificate, degree, diploma programs, including the Academic Bridging Program, pursue their University of Toronto studies on a part-time basis.Eligible students receive a non-repayable grant for the tuition cost of up to two credits during the fall/winter session and up to one credit during the summer session. The grant amount also includes a set amount for books, transportation to and from classes and, if applicable, child care.In addition to applying for the Meltz grant, students studying on a part-time basis should apply to OSAP for Part-Time Students.
